Activated Compost is our top seller and our flagship product. It is made made from local recycled plant material with an added nutrient blend to feed veggies, trees, lawns, flower beds, and more! This aerobic plant-based compost contains organic matter, which provides the biological diversity found in nature.
Activated Compost Can Be Used For
Plant a Bed
Five 1 cu ft bags cover an 8' × 4' garden bed at approximately 2" depth.
General Planting
Blend two 1 cu ft bags of topsoil with one bag of Activated Compost to create 3 cu ft of enriched soil.
Plant a Pot
Mix 2 parts potting mix with 1 part Activated Compost for improved soil performance.
Plant a Root Ball
Dig a hole, fill halfway with Activated Compost, loosen the root ball, and plant.
Improve Patchy Lawn
Mix one bag with 2 lbs of grass seed to cover approximately 25 sq ft.
Use the chart provided to determine area of coverage per 1 cubic foot bag of Activated Compost and how many bags are needed.
